How I got here
I studied CS at Brown, in a program that kept asking the question most skip: what are you actually putting into the world when you build this? It stuck. A marketing site isn't really a design problem. It's a trust problem, and I want to understand what's at stake before I write a line of code.
I'm Afro-Latino, built between cultures and used to making the practical path visible without turning it into a speech. The studio I run on the side is named after my great-grandfather Ramiro: electrician, welder, shoemaker. He measured twice. I try to do the same.
I like working with founders and small teams who need the practical path made visible. A new offer that needs a credible site. A dashboard replacing a messy spreadsheet. A founder who needs the MVP live before the runway runs out. There's no room for abstraction for its own sake. Either it works or it doesn't, and the client usually knows which within a week of going live.
Calls can help, but I do my best thinking from a written brief and a clear scope. Tell me what you're building, who it's for, and what a win looks like. The rest I can usually figure out.
How I work
- I work async. Inbox over calls.
- I quote a range and a timeline upfront.
- I'll tell you what's out of scope before we start.
- I reply within 2 business days, or I tell you why I can't.

Send a short brief. I will read it before asking for your time.
